What 500 miles will do to a pair of shoes. Here are what my shoes looked like after hiking from Cajon Pass (near I-15) to Mammoth Lakes.

Flowers for mom

As I hike, I like to take pictures of flowers. I do so because my mom likes flowers and taking pictures of them and it's a way for me to feel like she's on the trail with me.

So, without further ado...here are some flowers.

And counting! As of this posting I've hike 1,094 miles!
